This website is the result of my family and friends encouraging me to do more with my photographs.

I have always loved Hiking, the wilder and more remote the location the better.  Reaching the summit of a mountain or walking along a glen to a loch and just listening to the natural sounds fills my heart with joy.

Scotland is one of my favourite locations for hiking and is wonderful for Landscape and Wildlife photography.

I have also been lucky enough to spend time abroad in some amazing wildlife locations including, Alaska USA, Churchill on the Hudson Bay in Canada and the Falkland Islands.

While it is exciting to  travel abroad and photograph exotic species, I really enjoy photographing the wonderful variety of wildlife we have in the UK.

Two of my favourite UK mammals are Mountain Hares and Red Squirrels.

The last few years I have attended various workshops and gone on a couple of photography holidays, which have increased my understanding of the wildlife I love to photograph and improved my field skills.  I would like to thank Paul Hobson, Danny Green, Wildlife Photographers and Stephen Elliot Landscape Photographer, for their encouragement and tuition.
